Born in 1964 in Selangor, Malaysia, Ng studied Diploma of Fine Arts at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) under full scholarship and graduated in 1988.
Between 1990 and 1992, he studied at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs (ENSAD) in France. He also trained at the Atelier de Decor du Mur in Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Appliques et des Metiers d'Art (ENSAAMA).
After returning Malaysia, he set up Studio Ng and took position as Art Lecturer in the Equator Academy of Art & Design Penang during 1996 - 1997. He has practiced as an artist since year 1998 and has held several solo exhibitions within the country, including Screaming Colours at Younie Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (2019).
During the past few years, Ng has been participating actively in art expos such as Art Asia@KL 2019 Asian Warisan Fair. His artworks could be seen in auctions including Younie's Auction (2016, 2017 & 2019) and Masterpiece Fine Art Auction (2013, 2015 & 2016).
