The late Naruse Tatehiko began his artistic journey when he graduated from the Aichi Kyoiku University in 1964, where he honed his craft, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. In 1999, the Japanese Government acquired his works, a recognition of his artistic achievement.
In 2000, his solo exhibition, “Bokusai” was held in Shibuya, Tokyo, and then in Yokohama the following year. His artistic odyssey ventured beyond borders. In 2002, Naruse’s “Bokusai” solo painting exhibition was held in Isetan KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. In 2009, another solo show “Mushippo” took place at The Gallery of Isetan, The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur.
