张竣文曾先后就读于中国美术学院及南京师范大学美术系,并于南京林业大学获得硕士学位。曾任林连玉基金会执行长、新加坡南洋艺术学院及马来西亚赤道艺术学院教学与行政职务。现为马来西亚南方大学学院国际教育中心院长以及中国潍坊理工学院美术与设计学院终身荣誉教授。受阿尔贝托·贾科梅蒂影响,张竣文的创作围绕绘画、记忆与自然环境展开,并关注艺术实践中的伦理维度。 个展曾于吉隆坡Wei-Ling Gallery、槟城法国文化中心、台北市政府文化社会教育展览馆举行。作品亦曾于上海美术馆、中国美术学院、马来西亚国油画廊及马来西亚国家银行美术馆展出。

Chong Choon Woon was trained in several art institutions in China, including the China Academy of Art; Nanjing Normal University; and a Master's degree from Nanjing Forestry University. Formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the Lim Lian Geok Cultural Development Centre, Chong currently serves as the Dean of the International Education Centre, Southern University College, Johor, and Lifetime Honorary Professor of the School of Art and Design in Weifang Institute of Technology, China. He was involved in teaching and management at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore and Equator Academy of Art, Penang.

Influenced by Alberto Giacometti, Chong's work engages drawing, memory and the natural environment, with an emphasis on the ethical dimensions of artistic practice. His solo exhibitions were held at Wei-Ling Gallery, Kuala Lumpur; Alliance Française, Penang; and Taipei Cultural Centre and Ta Hwa University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His works were also exhibited at the Shanghai Art Museum (China), China Academy of Art, the Petronas Art Gallery, and Bank Negara Malaysia.
