来自古晋的蓝祥安，早年得到砂拉越艺术先驱蔡洪钟指点，学生时期便屡次获奖。1990年代游历美国多家美术馆，得到现代主义大师如保罗·克利、马克·罗斯科等启发，逐步形成独特风格。1985年共同创立砂拉越艺术家协会，曾任副会长至1990年。1962年于古晋英国文化协会举办个展，2013年及2015年于举行个人展览。自1970年起在全球各地展出，包括新加坡、泰国、印尼、台湾、中国大陆、韩国、日本、澳洲、瑞典、比利时、英国、约旦、巴西及美国。主要奖项包括砂州洲际水彩奖（1988）、中国江苏省水彩研究勋章（2007）及马来西亚国家美术馆“Salut 55”荣誉奖（2013）。作品被马来西亚国家美术馆、国家银行、马来西亚国家石油公司画廊及砂拉越博物馆珍藏。

Based in Kuching, Lam Siong Onn was mentored by the Sarawakian pioneer Tsai Horng Chung since his school days through plein-air studies and numerous competition wins. Visits to major US museums in the 1990s exposed him to modernists such as Paul Klee and Mark Rothko, shaping his evolving style. A co-founder of the Sarawak Artists Society (1985), Lam served as vice chairman until 1997. Early solo exhibitions include British Council Centre, Kuching (1962), with later shows ‘Lyrical Journey’ (2013) and ‘Geometry and Poetry’ (2015) held in Hong Kong. Lam has exhibited widely since 1970, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, mainland China, Korea, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Belgium, England, Jordan, Brazil and the United States. Major awards include the Sarawak State-Wide Art Award (1988), Jiangsu Watercolour Research Institute Honour Medal, China (2007), and the National Art Gallery Malaysia’s Salut 55 Honorary Award (2013). His works are collected by the National Art Gallery Malaysia, Bank Negara, Galeri Petronas, Sarawak Museum, and so on.
