Artist Biography

Bojen Low is a local artist residing in Rawang. He is skillful in many forms of art such as sketching and painting in different mediums.


In year 2014, he fell in love with rock painting art and started to create artworks of different subjects on rocks. In the following year, he founded Bojen Sam Art & Creativity together with his wife.


Bojen is specialized in painting rocks into realistic and lifelike creatures such as dogs, cats, owls and more. The artworks created can be admired from any angle of 360 degrees. His creations are so unique that they successfully attracted coverage in the press, magazines and even NTV7.

 

Artist Biography
- Born in 1966 in Malacca
- Graduated from Malaysia Institute of Art with a Diploma of Commercial Art in 1990
- After graduating, worked as a freelance illustrator for many publishing companies and some advertising firms
- Created many artistic paintings for “San Shu Gong”, a local package food Brand in Malacca, with a theme of nostalgic Malacca
- Being a fast learner, picked up computer-aided design in a short time and in 1997, switched to the computer line as an instructor for both computing and children art
- In 2005, created paintings for the Lunar New Year advertisement of AIA Insurance. The subject was a harmonious scene where multiracial friends visited a Chinese family at a heritage house in Jonker Street to celebrate new year
- In 2014, fell in love with rock painting art and started to create artworks of different subjects on rocks
- In 2015, founded Bojen Sam Art & Creativity together with his wife to further promote rock painting art and other forms of art & crafts
- Being interviewed & published by Sin Chew Daily, New Life Post, China Press, My Home Magazine and NTV7 for his unique rock paintings
