OF HOTEL ART FAIR
The history of hotel art fair can be traced back to year 1994, where four art dealers rented a set of hotel rooms at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York United States and started the very first hotel art fair in the world - The Gramercy International Art Fair.
KUALA LUMPUR'S FIRST HOTEL ART EXPO
With the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia and Yayasan Bakti Nusa Malaysia, we successfully organised Art Asia@KL 2018 Hotel Art Expo at Palace of The Golden Horses for the very first time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2018.
Our opening ceremony is officiated by Datuk Rashidi bin Hasbullah, the then Secretary General of Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia, along with Opening VIPs Tan Sri Ong Tee Keat, President of Yayasan Bakti Nusa Malaysia and Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, Owner of The Palace of The Golden Horses; accompanied by Ms Younie Wong, founder & Chairman of Art Asia KL.
A CELEBRATION OF ARTS & CULTURE
Art Asia was also going bold by including not only fine arts but also other forms of art such as jewellery, Chinese teas, antiques and more to join in this exhibition.
We were honoured to welcome a few honourable guests, including Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, Owner of the Palace of Golden Horses, as well as Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, CEO & Founder of AirAsia Group Berhad and his spouse to our expo.
