Younie's Corridor Gallery
In 2020, Younie Gallery collaborated with MECC Management to present Younie’s Corridor Gallery, a curated display of fine artworks by Malaysian artists at Menara MATRADE, Level 3, East Wing.

Located within the centre’s public corridor, the gallery brought contemporary Malaysian art into an everyday setting, offering visitors an opportunity to encounter and appreciate works by local artists while attending meetings, seminars, conferences and other events at MECC.

Risa Wada at Personal Structures 2022: Reflections, European Cultural Centre (ECC), Venice, Italy, together with ECC team members Bérénice Freytag and Elena Volpato.
In 2022, Younie Gallery facilitated Malaysian artist Risa Wada’s participation in the 6th edition of Personal Structures: Reflections, organised by the European Cultural Centre (ECC) in Venice, Italy. The project successfully gained support from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia and the National Art Gallery of Malaysia (Balai Seni Negara) through Tabung Bantuan Seni (TBS).

Running in parallel with the prestigious Venice Biennale, the exhibition has featured notable artists over the years, including Yoko Ono, and offers an international platform for contemporary art. The project marked a significant stepping stone in the artist’s practice while contributing to the internationalisation of Malaysian art abroad.

New Menu Cover for Esquire Kitchen
In 2024, Younie Gallery was commissioned to create a custom menu cover illustration for Esquire Kitchen to commemorate its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1974, Esquire Kitchen stands as a celebrated restaurant chain, cherished across Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya for its home-style Shanghai and Sze-Chuan cooking.

Working alongside a local artist, the bespoke watercolour illustration captures the warmth and nostalgia of those early days—depicting the founders sharing a joyous meal and spirited conversation in their original dining room above a bookstore opposite the Federal Hotel.
