沈松机是新加坡狮城书法篆刻会理事，曾任汉石书艺学会副会长。他是著名书法家石公黄国良（1920-2004）的女婿，深受其熏陶和影响。黄国良以专写隶书闻名，一生深研隶书，造诣深厚。沈松机对隶书也情有独钟，临书时不急不缓，专注用笔，笔法兼具方、圆、藏、露，笔势飞动，姿态优美，柔中有序，动中有静。业内人士评价其书法风格“甚类唐玄宗，波磔极显却圆润大气”。

自1988年开始，他参加了历届狮城书法篆刻会主办的狮城墨韵与汉石书法展，以及多次国际大型书法展，展出地点包括中国、日本、韩国、台湾、法国、印尼、马来西亚等。所参与的展览有：“中外书法名家宏‘兔’共展”，CCTV全球爱华诗歌春晚国际总会场非洲分会场（2023）；新加坡国立大学联办的“诗心墨韵：新加坡华文古典诗词书法展”（2021）；“第十三届国际书法交流新加坡大展”（2019）； “江岛明珠凝情谊•翰墨飘香迎未来—中新书法交流展”，南京江心洲新天地美术馆，中国（2016）；由世侨会主办的“第21回书画名家作品国际联展”，北京国艺美术馆，中国（2014）；及“翰墨交辉—中国·新加坡书法交流展“，北京民族文化宫展览馆，中国（2010）。

Sim Soong Kee is a council member of the Shicheng Calligraphy & Seal-Carving Society and former vice president of the Hanshi Calligraphy Society. As the son-in-law of renowned calligrapher Wong Kok Liang (1920-2004), Sim has a special fondness for clerical script. His calligraphy is marked by a steady pace and precise brush technique, resulting in a dynamic, calm, and graceful style.
Since 1988, Sim has actively participated in association exhibitions and numerous international shows across countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, France, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Notable exhibitions include “Poetic Strokes: Singapore’s Classical Chinese Poetry in Calligraphy” co-organized by the National University of Singapore (2021); ”A Joint Exhibition of Work by Chinese and Singaporean Calligraphers”, Nanjing, China (2016); “China-Singapore Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition", The Cultural Palace of Nationalities, Beijing (2010). In 2014, he won the second runner-up of the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Chinese Calligraphy Open Competition.
