Loo Foh Sang graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, in 1965, before continuing his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, where he graduated in 1969. During his years in Paris, he joined the renowned Atelier 17, where he studied printmaking under the distinguished British printmaker Stanley William Hayter. Loo remained in Paris for over two decades, establishing his own studio and developing a rigorous practice centred on printmaking. In 1988, Loo returned to Malaysia, where he taught at the Malaysian Institute of Art and later at the Central Academy of Art, having served as Head of both the Fine Art and Printmaking Departments. Over the course of his career, he has held more than thirty solo exhibitions, including major retrospectives at the SGM Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur (2004, 2014). He has also exhibited internationally, including at the Paris Youth Biennale (1970, 1971), the 16th Sarcelles Biennale in France (2013), and the 3rd Qingdao International Contemporary Art Exhibition in China (2020).

卢伙生，1965年毕业于毕业于新加坡南洋美专，后负笈法国，于巴黎国立高等美术学院深造，1969年毕业。留法期间，他进入著名版画工作室Atelier 17，师从英国版画巨匠斯坦利·威廉·海特（Stanley William Hayter），潜心研习版画技法，旅居巴黎创作逾二十载。1988年返马后，他先后任教于马来西亚艺术学院及中央艺术学院，曾任美术系及版画系主任。卢伙生迄今举办逾30场个展，包括于吉隆坡SGM文化中心举办的大型回顾展（2004、2014），亦曾参与巴黎青年双年展（1970、1971）、第16届法国Sarcelles双年展（2013）、中国第三届青岛国际当代艺术展（2020）等国际展览。作品为法国国家图书馆、比利时皇家图书馆、蒙特利尔美术馆、马来西亚国家银行及马来西亚国家美术馆收藏。
