  • M. Myo Kyaw is a Myanmar artist whose work bridges tradition and contemporary expression, capturing the essence of his culture while resonating globally.

     

    He began his artistic journey with the U Thu Kha 100 Years Anniversary Exhibition at New Treasure Art Gallery, Myanmar, in 2007, and his distinctive vision has since been showcased in key exhibitions across the country, such as Beauty of Myanmar (2013), the U Ba Nyan Art Festival (2017), 18 Brothers Art Exhibition (2019), and Bagan Art Expo (2020). From 2020 to 2023, he exhibited regularly at The Artists Art Gallery in Yangon, solidifying his presence in Myanmar’s contemporary art scene.

     

    Internationally, his work was featured in With Myanmar (2021) in Gwangju, South Korea. His global recognition expanded in 2024 when he exhibited at Art Revolution Taipei and was selected as a finalist in the International Artist Grand Prize Competition. Most recently, in 2025, he participated in the ASEAN–China Art Exchange Exhibition at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) in Malaysia, an event officiated by YB Dato' Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan Ismail.
